Privacy Policy

DoorStepped is a package delivery service for apartment residents, based in Texas ("DoorStepped," "we"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with.
What we collect
- When you sign up: your name, email, phone number, apartment unit number, community, and plan. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- When we deliver: a photo of your package at your door, the delivery time, and how many packages we delivered.
- In the mailroom: we scan package labels with a phone to read the unit number. The label is read on the device; we keep only unit numbers, never label photos, and never names or addresses from other residents' packages.
- On our website: a sign-in cookie that keeps your My deliveries page signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To deliver your packages, show your delivery history and photos, and bill your subscription.
- To answer your questions and resolve delivery disputes.
Who we share it with
- Your community's management office: for deliveries at your community, they can look up delivery records for a unit (time, package count, and door photo) to help with package questions.
- Service providers that help us run DoorStepped: Stripe (payments) and our hosting provider. They may use it only to provide those services.
- When required by law, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep delivery records and photos while your subscription is active and for up to 12 months after it ends, then delete them, unless we need them longer to resolve a dispute or meet a legal requirement. Stripe keeps billing records under its own policies.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information by emailing hello@doorstepped.com. Canceling your subscription stops new deliveries; you can also ask us to delete your delivery history.
Children
DoorStepped is for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let subscribers know by email.
